New song by Billy Bragg in support of Palestine and the Freedom Flotilla.

Inspired by E. Mark Windle's new book The Hundred Year Hunger: A Timeline of Food Insecurity & Malnutrition in Gaza

 More action is needed and it's needed NOW.. Save the West Bank, save Gaza, save the Palestinian nation and it's people. Time for an all out international general strike in solidarity? 


The Hundred Year Hunger: A Timeline of Food Insecurity & Malnutrition in Gaza


The book, as the title suggests, follows the series of deprivations suffered by the Palestinian people from the 1920s, through the founding of the state of Israel right up to the current diabolical famine. A published expert on the science of diet & nutrition, Mark Windle zooms in on that aspect of Israeli policy & activity in particular while referencing Israeli, Palestinian and international reports & data.


This famine was and is being engineered by the Israeli state and, as Windle points out, is the culmination of years of systemic inhumane & aggressive policy over Palestine. Right now Netanyahu is seeking to bring this policy to a dreadful conclusion.. for the sake of our humanity the world cannot let that happen!
Please spread the word folks.. people need to be made aware that this has been going on for decades, long before October 2023, Hamas or the intifada. The fault & blame, of course, lies not with Israel alone but also with all the leading powers in the western world who have aided and abetted all along the way. In that sense WE'RE ALL CULPABLE

  The Highs and the Woes Anglo-Celtic folk selection from around the British Isles. Highlights include songs from Martin Simpson 's amazing 2002 LP Bramble Briar while the irrepressible Dambert Nobacon returns with two well crafted & entertaining songs from his Woebegone album (2019), sung in duet with Miranda Zickler . Woes indeed! Our ongoing, perrenial tribute to the work of Dick Gaughan continues with four interesting tracks from different periods.
